available concerning Herbalism and natural medicine. The journal
also includes a Herbal Education Catalog, which features hard to
find books, exclusive publications, HerbalGram back issues and
botanical booklets. Much more is included in this journal which is
published quarterly.

founded in 1989 as a non-profit, educational organization to
represent the goals and voices of herbalists. It is the only
peer-review organization in the United States for professional
herbalists specializing in the medicinal use of plants. AHG
membership consists of professionals, general members (including
students) and benefactors.

600 journal titles. Repository of the famous Eclectic Medical
Institute records from the 19th & early 20th centuries. The oldest
text is an ancient Egyptian formulary known as a papyrus ebers
from around 1500 BC, containing 700-800 different botanical
